This is not an LED lamp, but a 4-foot-long (48 inch) T12 fluorescent tube, suitable for those who prefer traditional lighting options. While it delivers reliable performance, please note that this tube contains mercury. Proper handling and disposal are required when the tube burns out. Additionally, it is no longer considered an energy-efficient choice. Consider our LED replacement option, which reduces energy consumption, lasts 5 times longer and does not contain mercury.

This 1.5-inch diameter tube operates with a ballast and consumes 38 – 45 watts of electricity depending on the ballast and lamp combination (see attributes). It features two G13 Medium Bipin male sockets on either end, ensuring compatibility with standard fixtures. The colour of the light is colloquially known as Daylight, the colour temperature is 6500 Kelvin, it provides between 2200 – 2600 lumens over its lifespan and has a minimum rated life of 20,000 hours.
