Description
This is not an LED lamp. Instead, it is a conventional 32-watt U-6 Shaped (U-6 Bent) T8 Fluorescent Tube, measuring 6 inches between the U-shaped ends and fitted with two male G13 Medium Bi-Pin sockets.
Typically used in 2×2 recessed fluorescent fixtures, it generally requires two tubes per fixture. While it offers reliable illumination, this tube contains mercury and must be handled and disposed of with care.
No longer considered energy-efficient, it emits light with a colour temperature of 5000 Kelvin and a brightness of 1500 to 2000 lumens. It has a minimum lifespan of 20,000 hours and requires a ballast for operation, which may also need replacing over time.
