Description
This is not an LED lamp but a 2-foot-long (24-inch) T8 fluorescent tube, ideal for those who prefer traditional lighting options. While it offers reliable performance, please be aware that this tube contains mercury, so proper handling and disposal are required when the tube reaches the end of its life. Additionally, it is no longer considered an energy-efficient choice. We recommend considering our LED replacement option, which reduces energy consumption, lasts five times longer, and does not contain mercury.
This 1-inch diameter tube operates with a ballast and consumes between 15 and 20 watts of electricity, depending on the ballast and lamp combination (see attributes). It features two G13 Medium Bipin male sockets on either end, ensuring compatibility with standard fixtures. The light is commonly known as Cool White, with a colour temperature of 4,000 to 4,100 Kelvin. It provides between 950 and 1,200 lumens over its lifespan and has a minimum rated life of 7,500 hours.
