GX24Q/G24Q to E26/E27 Lamp Base Adapter for 4-Pin CFL to LED Conversion (Ballast Bypass Required)

This adapter converts 4-pin CFL sockets (GX24q-1, GX24q-2, GX24q-3, G24q-1, G24q-2, G24q-3) to a standard E26/E27 medium screw base for LED bulbs.
Important: This is for 4-pin sockets only (GX24Q/G24Q). It does not work with 2-pin sockets.

Ballast Bypass Required:
The ballast in your fixture must be bypassed or removed. Operating an LED bulb with a ballast can damage the bulb. If unsure, consult a licensed electrician.

Compatible CFL Bases and Wattages:

G24q-1 / GX24q-1: 10W–13W (Quad or Triple Tube)

G24q-2 / GX24q-2: 18W (Quad or Triple Tube)

G24q-3 / GX24q-3: 26W–32W (Quad or Triple Tube)

About CFL and LED Compatibility:
Pin-based CFLs (GX24Q, G24, GX23, G23) rely on an external ballast to start, using a high voltage (600–1500V) pulse.
LED lamps, however, have built-in drivers designed for direct AC input (100–240V or 85–265V). High starting voltages from a ballast will damage LED lamps.
