This item has been discontinued by the manufacturer, but it is a simple component that can be replaced with the updated version we have in stock. While there may be slight differences in case colour and minor variations in size, it will still transform a primary voltage of 120V to a secondary voltage of 12V. It is fully capable of powering halogen lamps or serving as a driver for LED replacements for those halogens. The new version has a maximum secondary wattage of 75W. If your existing unit is housed in a very tight enclosure, we recommend contacting us to confirm the fit. However, if there is enough space around the transformer, installation should be straightforward, allowing you to wire it in easily and get your lamps up and running.
