Description

This is not an LED lamp. Instead, this product is a conventional 40-watt T12 U-Bend (U-6 Shaped) Fluorescent Tube. It has a 6-inch width between the U-shaped ends and features two male G13 Medium Bi-Pin sockets.

Typically used in 2×2 recessed troffers or surface-mounted fluorescent fixtures, it may require one or two tubes per fixture. While it provides consistent illumination, this tube contains mercury and must be handled and disposed of carefully.

No longer considered energy-efficient, it emits a cool white light with a colour temperature of 4100 Kelvin and a brightness of 2500+ lumens. It has a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of 70+ and an average lifespan of 10,000 hours. The tube has a diameter of 1.5 inches (38mm) and a length of 24 inches (609.6mm). A ballast is required for operation, which may also need replacing over time.
