LED. This lamp is the perfect replacement for a 3500 Kelvin (between Cool White and Warm White) 4-foot T5 fluorescent tube. Installation requires minor electrical work, where your electrician will bypass the ballast and run line voltage to the sockets. Once installed, maintaining the fixture will be as simple as replacing the light bulb.
This LED lamp consumes only 13 watts, reducing energy consumption by over 60%. It delivers a bright 1600 lumens throughout its lifespan and is engineered to last for more than 50,000 hours. For your peace of mind, it comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty and is mercury-free. Featuring a G5 Miniature Bi-Pin base, a diameter of 0.625 inches, and a length of 45.8 inches—nominally considered a “4-foot tube” by the lighting industry—this lamp is an excellent choice for retrofitting existing fixtures that use F28T5/835K fluorescent tubes.
